Jaison Singh

When clients first meet Jaison, they usually arrive with a question about a home loan. It does not take long for him to start asking about everything around it. What are you trying to make possible? What might change in the next few years? Is there another property in the picture? Is the business income straightforward, or only straightforward on paper? Jaison wants to understand the full situation before he starts talking about lenders. That is how Financial Elements began more than 20 years ago. Jaison could see that people were making significant lending decisions based on a rate and a product, without enough attention being paid to how the loan was structured or what it meant for the next decision. Together with Estela, he built Financial Elements around a more considered way of working. It is also where “More than just a pretty rate” came from. It sounds like a cheeky line, and it is, but it reflects something Jaison takes seriously. He genuinely enjoys the puzzle of lending. Give him a self-employed client, several entities, an unusual income structure or a lender policy that does not quite fit, and he will keep working through it until he understands where the options are. He knows when to question the obvious answer, when to pick up the phone to a lender and when an application needs more work before it should go anywhere. Jaison is direct, but never interested in making lending sound more complicated than it needs to be. He will explain what he is looking at, what a lender may challenge and where the trade-offs sit. If something does not stack up, he will say so. If he needs to investigate further, he will say that too. Around the office, Jaison is just as likely to be workshopping a difficult scenario with a broker as he is making a joke in the team chat. He is generous with what he knows and prefers teaching through real situations rather than theory. He takes the responsibility of the work seriously, but does not bring unnecessary formality to the conversation. Clients often choose Jaison because they want someone who will stay close to the detail without losing sight of the person making the decision. Working with him feels practical, straightforward and personal. Expect plenty of questions, plain-English conversations and a lending strategy with a reason behind it. Jaison Singh is an Authorised Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number 394835) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 391237).
Estela Singh

Estela Singh

Marketing + Operations

View profile
For nearly 30 years, Estela has worked across brand, marketing and operations, building experience inside businesses, alongside clients and across multi-site organisations. A chapter of her career spent in finance marketing at a credit union gave her invaluable lessons that shape much of what clients see, read and experience. It reinforced the importance of clear communication, thoughtful processes and never losing sight of the person behind the paperwork. At Financial Elements, Estela brings together the brand, communication, systems and thinking that sit behind the client experience. She is often the one asking whether something makes sense, whether it needs to be there and whether there is a better way to do it. Estela and Jaison are building Financial Elements together while raising their three children. The business has always been shaped by real life, busy family schedules and an understanding  and appreciation that clients have far more going on than what appears in their application. Much of what Estela does happens behind the scenes. It’s where she’s happiest: asking questions, solving problems and helping bring structure to ideas.

For Natalie Sayegh, a good client conversation starts with understanding what is actually happening in someone’s life, not rushing to talk about loans. Natalie spent four years in banking before moving into mortgage broking, where she has worked for the past 14 years. That experience means she knows the questions to ask, the details worth checking and where a lending scenario may need a closer look. She takes the time to explain what she finds in plain English, so clients understand their options and what comes next. Clients choose Natalie because she is easy to talk to, thorough and straightforward. She knows that a mortgage decision rarely sits in isolation. There is usually a family plan, a property decision or a change in circumstances behind it, and she keeps that bigger picture in view while working through the lending details. Away from work, Natalie is usually spending time with family and friends, especially her little nieces and nephews. She has travelled to more than 20 countries, plays pickleball, never turns down a karaoke microphone and is always happy when Korean BBQ is on the menu. Working with Natalie feels organised without being overly formal. Clients can expect honest conversations, clear explanations and someone who stays close to the detail from the first discussion through to settlement. Natalie Sayegh is an Authorised Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number 417767) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 391237).

Mala knows that most people do not arrive with a neat lending question. They arrive with a situation. They may be weighing up whether to refinance, planning an investment, building a home or trying to work out why a seemingly straightforward application has become complicated. Her first step is to understand what is really going on. Mala takes the time to ask the right questions, make sense of the moving parts and explain what lenders will look at before recommending a lending strategy. Clients can expect a considered process, straightforward communication and someone who stays close to the detail from the first conversation through to settlement. Before becoming a mortgage broker, Mala spent 13 years working with leading Australian banks. That experience gave her a practical understanding of how lending decisions are assessed and why the structure of an application can matter just as much as the numbers. Over a 19-year career in finance and lending, she has worked across residential lending, refinancing, investment property finance, construction, SMSF lending, trust structures and complex credit scenarios. Mala also holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, alongside her finance and mortgage broking qualifications. Her background across banking, consulting, communications and business transformation means she is comfortable looking beyond the immediate transaction, particularly when working with professionals and business owners whose finances do not always fit into a standard box. What clients tend to value most is Mala’s ability to bring order to a complicated situation. She is thorough without making the process feel heavy, direct without being abrupt, and clear about what is possible, what needs more work and what should happen next. Mala Murti is an Authorised Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number 534986) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 391237).

Sandeep knows that most people do not arrive with a perfectly formed question. They may be weighing up a first home, wondering whether their current loan still makes sense, or trying to understand what is possible before making a property decision. His first step is to listen, ask the right questions and get a clear picture of what matters to them. With more than 15 years in lending, Sandeep has worked through many different borrowing situations. That experience shows in the way he approaches the details, explains the options in plain English and looks beyond the most obvious answer. He does not rush the conversation or treat a mortgage as a one-off transaction. He wants clients to understand what is being considered, what happens next and why a particular lending approach may suit their circumstances. Clients appreciate Sandeep’s patience and his willingness to remain available when questions come up. He takes responsibility for keeping the process moving and makes sure people are not left wondering where things stand. Family is an important part of Sandeep’s life, particularly time spent with his young daughter. It also shapes how he works. He understands that a lending decision is rarely just about numbers. It can affect a family’s plans, routines and choices for years to come, so he gives each conversation the care and attention he would expect for his own family. Working with Sandeep feels considered, straightforward and personal. Clients can expect someone who will listen closely, explain things clearly and stay involved from the first conversation through to the next decision.

Based on the Gold Coast, Will Todd is Financial Elements’ Senior Finance Broker in Queensland. He takes the time to understand what is happening in a client’s life before talking about loan options, because the right structure depends on more than the property being purchased or the rate on offer. Clients come to Will at different points. Some are buying their first home and need the process explained without the noise. Others are refinancing, renovating, building or working out the next step in an investment portfolio. Will starts with the same things: what needs to happen now, what may change later and how the lending needs to work alongside the client’s cash flow, family and longer-term plans. Originally from New Zealand, Will moved from the travel industry into mortgage broking in 2020 when COVID forced an unexpected career change and hasn’t looked back!. He enjoys getting to know people, asking practical questions and working through the details that can easily be missed when the conversation revolves around interest rates alone. That approach reflects Financial Elements’ belief in “More Than Just A Pretty Rate”. For Will, a loan should make sense beyond settlement day. He considers how the structure may affect a client’s ability to reduce debt, manage future changes or keep building towards what comes next, while staying firmly within the scope of lending strategy. Outside work, Will is a husband and dad to two young boys. Sport is a big part of life, especially rugby union, and his loyalty to the All Blacks and Crusaders remains firmly intact. Working with Will feels straightforward and considered. Clients can expect someone who listens properly, explains the reasoning behind the options and stays focused on lending that fits real life. William Todd is an Authorised Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number 525534) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit License 391237).

Joshua believes lending conversations should be straightforward. He listens first, asks the questions that matter and explains what is happening without burying clients in industry language. Before starting his career in mortgage broking, Joshua spent a year working inside the broking process. Combined with his earlier experience in accounting, real estate and car sales, this means he understands the numbers, the property conversation and the practical decisions that sit behind an application. More importantly, he knows that what makes sense on paper still needs to make sense to the person making the decision. Joshua works through the details, tells you what needs attention and keep you informed as things progress. If something is unclear, he would rather talk it through properly than assume you understand it. Outside work, you will see Joshua at the gym, spending time with mates and can usually be found on the sidelines at a friend’s footy game on Sunday. He also likes cars, bikes and getting out for a ride. Clients choose Joshua because he is approachable, practical and easy to talk to. There is no performance and no unnecessary complexity.
